The Globalization of Magazines in India: A case study
Unformatted Document Text:  11 Conde Nast‘s first publication in India was Vogue, its 17 th worldwide edition, which was launched in 2007. It was followed by GQ in 2008 and Conde Nast Traveler in 2010. At the time of its entry into the Indian market, Conde Nast had a presence in 22 markets around the world, but Vogue was its first foray in to Asia. It is the only western publisher so far to have set up a wholly-owned subsidiary, Conde Nast India. A number of other publishers have also established a presence in India, the table below provides a list of market entrants till 2010.
