Breast Cancer Screening: What do young women know?

Abstract | Word Stems | Keywords | Association | Citation | Similar Titles

Abstract:

Mammogram compliance rates are declining. We present results from two studies of young adult women's perceptions and knowledge of mammograms as well as their perceived personal risk for breast cancer. Their responses reflected misinformation about mammograms and a decided emphasis on the role of heredity as a causal factor.
