Rejecting Rape Culture: Sexual Aggression Myth Acceptance and Conceptualizations of Sexual Victimization

Abstract | Word Stems | Keywords | Association | Citation | Similar Titles

Abstract:

Psychologists consistently identify rape culture and rape myths as social justice issues of concern. Rape myths influence how people conceptualize their experiences; therefore, it is essential to consider how the endorsement of broader myths about sexual aggression impacts how women conceptualize victimizing experiences beyond rape.
