For Her Pleasure and Protection: Feminism Moderates the Relation between Sexism and Women’s Sexual Health

Abstract | Word Stems | Keywords | Association | Citation | Similar Titles

Abstract:

Across two samples, higher perceived sexism was related to lower sexual and condom use self-efficacy and sexual satisfaction in women. These findings were moderated by feminist beliefs, such that women with stronger feminist attitudes showed weaker relations between sexism and negative sexual health outcomes than those with weaker feminist attitudes.
