Abstract | Word Stems | Keywords | Association | Citation | Similar Titles

Abstract:

In three studies, we (1) investigated the relationships between feminism and thin-ideal internalization, body satisfaction, shame, body surveillance, drive for thinness, and health behaviors and (2) developed a preliminary measure of feminist beliefs about the body. Findings underscore the critical need for a measure of feminist beliefs about the body.
