Abstract:

In this qualitative study, variables that influenced provider/patient relationship and its effects on treatment decisions were identified based on interviews with 13 sexual minority women breast cancer survivors. Participants experienced the provider/patient relationship as a facilitator or an obstacle to receiving optimal medical care. Reasons will be discussed.
