Abstract | Word Stems | Keywords | Association | Citation | Similar Titles

Abstract:

This paper critically examines the defining of trauma in western literature. The authors employ two examples, the impact of war on Afghan civilians, and Taiwanese adults’ experiences of sexual abuse to address the often-neglected intersection of culture and trauma. Implications of this convergence on redefining trauma will be discussed.
