Abstract | Word Stems | Keywords | Association | Citation | Similar Titles

Abstract:

This talk will address the factors that make girls and women specifically vulnerable to sexual exploitation and trafficking. Despite differences in cultural backgrounds, common themes replay throughout these girls’ experiences. Through abuse, neglect or abandonment, girls are “primed” for predatory men and for an industry that capitalizes on such vulnerability.
