Abstract:

Women diagnosed with Bipolar I Disorder experience hyper-sexuality in the manic phase, tempting them to engage in sexually risky behavior that increases their risk for contracting sexually transmitted diseases. Our investigation into therapists’ ability to assess and modulate their clients’ sexually risky behavior revealed fascinating results.
