Abstract:

This study examines Hispanic college students’ perceptions about heterosexual male experiences with sexual coercion via scripting beliefs. Hispanic male sexual scripts identified included (1) hypersexuality, (2) male dominance, (3) sexual orientation, and (4) cultural messages about masculinity. Findings are important for researchers addressing identity development and relationship issues.
