Abstract:

Examines the potential of Psychology as contributing to a national violence- prevention initiative. Presenters analyze the top ten General Psychology textbooks for: coverage of violence-related topics, the domains in which coverage occurs, and material directly addressing violence prevention. Recommendations for enhanced coverage of violence are made.
