Abstract | Word Stems | Keywords | Association | Citation | Similar Titles

Abstract:

We qualitatively explored Black women’s experiences of racial microaggressions at domestic violence shelters. Women experienced racial microaggressions in shelters, yet few women classified the incidents as racist. This presentation will explore victim blaming and internalized oppression as contributors to the denial of racism.
