Cultural Consideration in the Study of Interpersonal Trauma

Abstract | Word Stems | Keywords | Association | Citation | Similar Titles

Abstract:

Trauma research focused on cultural context, including oppression, stigma, discrimination, and cultural strengths, is receiving increased attention. Although this work has focused on ethnic minorities and low income women, there is a dearth of trauma research on religious women and lesbian/bisexual/transgendered women. Feminist scholarship must advocate for multiply marginalized women.
