Abstract | Word Stems | Keywords | Association | Citation | Similar Titles

Abstract:

Instructors today face the challenge of teaching students who have grown up surrounded by the social idea that race is no longer relevant. This colorblindness adds a particular challenge in the classroom. This panel features authors from an edited volume, Teaching Race in Contemporary America, (Springer 2014) who discuss their pedagogical strategies for teaching about race today.
