Abstract: The literature reports a strong association between degrees of economic and educational freedoms and levels of self-efficacy. The findings of this research shows (1) greater economic and educational freedoms empower people, improve their quality of life and expand opportunities for nations to benefit from, and (2) the prosperity created by economic and educational freedoms result in reduced illiteracy (through greater access to education) and increased life expectancy (through access to higher quality health care and food supplies).
