Abstract: Women’s human rights (WHR) are systematically abused across the globe. Psychology offers relevant theories and methods to understand the pervasiveness of WHR violations, but has been slow to engage in such discourses. This presentation explores psychology’s role in understanding WHR and identifies potential avenues for WHR research and social action.
