Abstract: Probability-of-occurrence of risks and the severity are the two dimensions by which the Supply-Chain-Risks have traditionally been described. Detectability has recently been introduced as a very important third dimension. This paper is an attempt at formulating a metric to measure the detectability by using fuzzy TOPSIS and fuzzy AHP.

Abstract: Fuzzy AHP and fuzzy TOPSIS methods are decision-making way at the end of integrating the current methods with fuzzy structure. In this study, the problems of enterpreneurs are discussed and the popular factors in these processes aimed to determine in a systematic way. At this point, it is asked to compare the problem’s criteria with each other by using linguistic scale in fuzzy AHP method. At the end of the judgement, the weights of the criterion are determined and ranked as to importance point. After determining top problem factors, the sector analysis of the enterpreneurs is completed with fuzzy TOPSIS method. The proposed model enables new enterpreneurs to better understand the difficulties of the related processes and help to design road map to proceed in efficient way

Abstract: This paper proposes a new integrated intuitionistic model consisting of Fuzzy AHP and Fuzzy MOORA methods to deal with the uncertainty in decision-making problems. The proposed model is implemented selection of new product alternatives for one of the biggest firms in the beverage industry. As a result of the study, the ranking of the new product alternative is determined and presented to the firm.

Abstract: This project began as an independent study in advanced undergraduate logic. In this process, we have branched off into the realm of Fuzzy Logic. Fuzzy Logic is a newer field first developed in the 1960s by Lofti Zadeh. This area of mathematics views logic in a more statistical manner, which describes real world scenarios more accurately. A standard problem using fuzzy logic is the “Fuzzy Shower.” In this problem we consider two water inputs, hot and cold, connected to two valves which control water flow to the outlet of the shower. Our goal is to meet the temperature requirement between 34 and 38 degrees Celsius and the flow rate requirement of 11 to 13 Liters per minute. Our range for water temperature will be between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius, and our maximum flow rate for each valve is 25 Liters per minute. Using modern fuzzy sets we will determine the values for the valve settings needed to achieve the problem requirements.

Abstract: A new method for defining rank of quality over a number of object oriented software applications has been developed. The method is to interpret a number of metric values obtained from measuring object oriented properties of executable Java codes into a single quantitative value that represents its quality. OO metrics are treated as the multi criteria. Their values are converted to pairwise comparison matrix according to the AHP scheme. Fuzzy logic is applied to address the limitation of existing methods. It has been proved that fuzzy-AHP method results in more accurate and more consistent judgment in defining relative quality compared to AHP.
